Supplier Recognition Award 2021 for Schleicher Fahrzeugteile

In a virtual ceremony, Cummins Inc., the engine manufacturer in the USA, distinguished Schleicher Fahrzeugteile as their best supplier in the Quality category for 2021. This selection was based on empirical data over the past year at the same time as taking recommendations by the staff of the relevant purchasing teams at Cummins into account. No grounds for complaint, delivery of the exact amounts on time, and high readiness for dispatch – under challenging conditions during the Covid19 pandemic – these were the criteria for the ‘Best of Best Quality’ award.

For 7 years now, Schleicher Fahrzeugteile has provided the engine manufacturer with two types of pump shafts which are incorporated in fuel pumps for heavy-duty engines. The complex and demanding process of manufacturing our product enables, in cooperation with Cummins Inc., many ways, not only in our production processes but also in the application products, of achieving a high total utilisation rate, hence permitting continual development towards sustainability.
