Commissioning of our new photovoltaic installation

Our new photovoltaic plant on the west roof of our production unit was commissioned during optimal summery irradiation at the end of July: 238 solar modules were installed, enabling a peak power output of approx. 100 KWP (in the photo the panels can be seen to the right and left as well as the open dome lights and the smoke and heat extractor hoods on the roofs of our plant).

Our company will make use of the entire annual power output of approx. 100,000 KWH – an addition of sustainably generated power to our usual energy mix, also providing our staff with free recharging of their e-cars/hybrids (see our June update).
