Schleicher Fahrzeugteile with New Management

After 28 years as Managing Director of Schleicher Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, Stefan Schleicher will hand over his position to Dr. Wilhelm Achim Hosenfeld on November 1, 2025.

Following the challenges the company faced in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent market disruptions, Schleicher Fahrzeugteile has now been successfully restructured on a new foundation with secured financing for a sustainable future. While Rudolf-Martin Schleicher had already moved to the advisory board several years ago, Stefan Schleicher will now also step down from management after these intensive months to focus on new essential tasks on the shareholder side: the company’s long-term strategy and financing. Stefan and Rudolf-Martin Schleicher will therefore continue to ensure the company’s stability as shareholders, provide their expertise as advisors, and support the company as members of the advisory board to secure its future.

Under Stefan Schleicher’s leadership, Schleicher Fahrzeugteile consolidated operations at the modern Penzberg site in 2023 and transformed its sales markets away from the passenger car industry toward new sectors such as environmental technology and energy generation, aerospace, medical technology, and the security and defense industry. The synergies from merging facilities at personnel and organizational levels are now delivering positive results through the current streamlining process. A comprehensive set of projects launched in February 2025 in logistics, value stream, production technology, organization, and digitalization is driving this process forward. In this context, we are making significant investments in cutting-edge manufacturing processes and equipment.

Dr. Hosenfeld has already been active in the company for several months, building and managing this project portfolio. He will ensure the implementation of measures for sustainable improvements in efficiency and quality and will unlock further market opportunities for profitable growth. Dr. Hosenfeld brings to this role more than 30 years of extensive industry experience, gained as a managing director in the automotive supply industry and as a business consultant.
