“A Day as an Apprentice” IHK-Event on November 18, 2026: Registration is open now!
9. October 2026
Anyone who wants to experience the daily lives of apprentices up close will have a great opportunity to do so here in the Weilheim-Schongau district on the Day of Repentance and Prayer, when schools are closed: Accompanied by an apprentice of roughly the same age, participants can gain an authentic insight into the day-to-day reality of an apprenticeship at a company. This is a concrete and valuable experience for young people as they explore their career options.
Students aged 13 and older can register at www.ihk-muenchen.de/eintagazubi/ until the end of October. From October 14, 2026, through November 9, 2026, registered students will be “matched” online with participating companies on a digital platform based on their qualifications and preferences. Schleicher Fahrzeugteile is also offering a day as an apprentice in this program, specifically for vocational training as an industrial or machining mechanic.
